Events

As the Hammerheads (a FIRST robotics team), we do much more than just build a robot, and drive it around. Every year, we hold a variety of public outreach, fundraising, and team-building events in addition to attending several official FIRST competitions.

These events include:
 

> > Important fundraising at local stores like Barnes and Noble

> Volunteering in the community at the Yad Ezra food bank and the Summer in the City community
service organization in Detroit

> Expanding the virtues of FIRST at our community festival, Troy Daze

> And holding a regional FLL event called SharkFest for teams in the area, many of which are only 1st or 2nd year teams.
